Why do dogs eat blankets/sheets?
We've had our 2 year old Chihuahua for about 9 months now and we've noticed she tends to eat our sheets. She sleeps with my mother and step father at night and we're guessing that's the time that she does it. We're not exactly sure why she does it and would really like some help. My only guess is maybe she's awake and gets bored, she's hungry, or the sheets smell good? I really have no clue. It's only with their sheets and blankets and not with anyone else's. We know of some ways of stopping her from doing it I was just wondering WHY she does it.Any answers would be appreciated. I've searched for some info but haven't really found out WHY just what to do to prevent this situation for occurring. Anyway, thanks for any information.
Can i take my horse blankets to a laundromat?
i need to get my blankets clean asap. last year at my old barn the women told me she went to some laundromat and did them herself. This is a good option for me but i have heard that many laundromats will not let you wash blankets because of all the hair and dirt. They are to dirty for me to clean myself and be satisfied. i have tried many times before its just never the same as fresh clean. our local tack shop sends blankets out but its to expensive to send out like 10 blankets. any suggestions?

Are baby blankets safe to use for guinea pigs?
because i do have the cc cage and the fleece and all. I also have the hammock , tunnel, and cuddle cup. but i find that my cavies just poop and pee in all of those AND they sleep in a corner under a cc grid overhang which hangs the hammock . So technically they sleep under the hammock on the fleece, and it gets poopy. and i tried placing towels but later found on the net that the loops rings on the towels can get caught on their nails. so what should i put in their sleeping spot to keep it cleaner. thats why i asked if baby blankets placed on the fleece is okay.... thanks .i do poop scoop it twice daily but i dont want them lying on THAT corner for a week.and i am not allow to wash fleece more frequently......
Why does my dog roll around on my bed and in my blankets?
When we come home from a walk, or if he is excited then my dog Doug will start rolling around on my bed and through my blankets. He'll jump off the bed then roll around and start barking while rolling around in my blankets on the floor. It's really funny when he does this, and he tends to do it when he gets excited or when we come home from a walk. Why does he do this?
How do blankets protect you from ghosts?
Is it that ghosts don't know you're there because you're hiding under the blanket or that they know you are there but can't get you because blankets are like kryptonite to ghosts?
