Blankets

Question: I have a 5 1/2 month old little girl, and she always seems to pulling up her blankets and chewing?

On them, same thing with her clothes. Is that something normal 5 months old do? Can someone tell me why she is doing this? Should I talk to her pediatrican doctor about, or should I be worried?

It shouldn't be anything to worry about! Babies normally stick everything in their mouths anyway and she might just be teething. Check her gums to see if you notice any swelling on teeth caps and you could put some baby orajel for comfort.

My babys 5 and a 1/ 2 months too and he dose the same thing all the thing and most ppl say its just cause there starting to teeth.i think its fine it makes him happy. and hes always chewing on my shoulder when i hold him up like that i think its a part of him not having a pacifier to.

All babies do this she has found her mouth and they always want to put something into it. Her gums are parbably getting ready to cut teeth. They will even chew on their fingers they are learning about their moutrh

My daughters 3.5 month and also does this! babies like to put things in their mouths, you just have to keep an eye on them!!! mum to 3 yr old, 2 yr old & 15 week old!

I have a nine month old and she did the same thing they just love tasting things and pus it probably feels good on those little gums of hrs no you shouldn't cause she is fine its totally normal good luck:)

Why would you be worried?? about what?? her chewing on her blanket? lmao I have a 5 1/ 2 month old son and all he does is chew on everything. We have to change his clothes all the time from his chewing on them and have to tuck his blanket under his hips when he taps a nap so he doesnt pull it up by his face when he eats it lol
