i wanted to get a heated blanket but im concerned about its safety issues...does anyone know if its safe to use?
Are heated blankets money savers?
My dad said that if we have heated blankets, he doesn't have to turn the heater on as high at night, thus, saving money. But my boyfriend's parents say no, they just waste energy and money. What do you think?
Electric heating blankets not OK for Diabetics?
My mother has type II diabetes. She is always cold, so I got here a electric heating blanket. The instructions that came with it say diabetics should not use eclectic blankets. Why is that?
Anybody use and like using an electric heating blanket?
I live out in the desert. The days are beautiful and the nights are getting quite cold after 10 PM. Hubby and I both find we no longer like the weight of piling on more blankets and comforters. We tried sleeping in sweat sets neither of us can stand them. I'm thinking an electric blanket might be a good solution for us now.
Can heating blankets cause heart problems? ?
Ever since i was using my heating blanket i started getting sharp pains in my chest during the day. Its been warmer at night so since then i stopped using it. My chest problems have stopped to. So now i noticed everytime i turn on my heating blanket i get sharp chest pain. Has anybody heard of this??
Most comfortable heating blanket?
I'm getting my folks a set of heating blankets this Christmas because of how unbearably cold it gets in their room, no matter how high they turn up the thermostat. However, most heating blankets I've used are itchy and thin, and the cords get irritating after awhile. Any recommendations on a good brand or a specific kind of blanket? I'd like to stay under $100 a blanket.

ok, i know that when you get an xray they put lead blankets over women's uterus's for protection against radiation. do heating blankets cause women to become sterile and unable to have children because of radiation?
Is it dangerous to fall asleep with an electric heat blanket?
I'm contemplating asking my mom for one, cause I'm always cold cold cold and I'm sick of it I'm particularly cold when I'm trying to sleep, I wear flannel pj's and five blankets I think I have a blood circulation problem, cause my when I touch my friends with my hands, they say I'm freezing I have to have my one friend sick on my feet to stay warm Okay enough ranting.. PSuggested Category Pregnancy & Parenting > Newborn & Babymy friend has to " sit" on my feet, not " sick" , sorry and a chiropractor? why?? i don't have a back problem.... do i really need to see a doctor?
Does "tin-foil" heat blanket help in hypothermia? How?
First aid givers wrap hypothermia victims in thin, shiny blankets. How does this warm the person? Is it effective? I have my doubts a swig of cognac could do better
