What are the big blankets called with pictures of animals on them?
They are usually pictures of animals, but I have seen playboy bunny, etc. They are huge, and very warm. They sell for about $30 $50 depending on where you get them. I was wondering if there was a specific name for them, or anyone has any sites to purchase them?
How do you get rid of the pills from the blankets that has shown upon the sheets?
We just bought a set of sheets and a red blanket Velor very soft, but for some reason the sheets and pillow cases have pills on them. I have tried to vacuum them but it does not work, I need to know what I can do to get rid of the pills. Please Help...

How do I get the cat pee smell out of blankets?
My cat peed on a couple blankets and my hubby says we will have the throw the blankets away Is there any products out there that will get rid of the smell so that I don't have to throw them away? or am I stuck having to buy new blankets?i should add, they are dark colored blankets.....do the " color safe" bleach work well? (Canada residents only) Winter Blanket Question?
I know winter is basically over, but I'd like to buy my winter blanket for my new horse over the summer when they'd be really on sale. I live in Central Ontario, and our winters are moderately average. In previous years they've been really bad freezing, windy, snowy but mostly this winter it was just snowing and cold. The weather seems to have gotten really unpredictable over the years and I can't make a proper judgement buy a Mediumweight blanket, or buy a Heavyweight blanket?My horse is a 16.2 Canadian Warmblood mare, so she'd be producing a substancial amount of body heat on her own, but I also want her warm because the horses are turned out all day and brought in at night, and some days it can be hell, and other days it can be still. Would it be best for me to buy a heavyweight blanket, or get a Mediumweight and put something underneath? And as the winter days grow warmer, I can take the under layer out so my horse will be warm but not overheating? What could I put underneath the blanket that wouldn't rub? Silk or satin blanket help?
Hello everyone i just moved into my own apartment and have my own stuff now. Wich means i bought my own bed and now i need my own blankets. I want silk but everytime i check ebay it says " silk satin" . Is silk the same as satin or what? I want the best of the best so is there such a thing as silk only blankets or is it all mixed? Also what feels better? Thanks
