Making no sew fleece blankets?
I'm making one for my boyfriend for christmas and I don't really understand how to do it. I know you have to put 2 pieces of fleece on top of eachother and then cut the edges and tie...but how much fleece do i need to buy? I don't want it to be a huge blanket, just one that he could take to track meets to keep warm with. So yeha, how big, and how long do the cuts frayed edges have to be? It'd be really nice if someone could just please explain the whole process lol. Or if you know of a website that has picture instructions?
How big should I make a no-sew fleece blanket?
I bought fabric at JoAnn's yesterday, and the lady at the fabric counter told me I needed 2 yards of fabric per person. Well when I looked at the 2 yards of fabric when I got home I realized it was way to big I just want like a throw blanket...If I cut the fabric to 1 yard per blanket would that be too small? What is a good amount? This is the kind of blanket I'm makingcraftelf.com Crafts No%20Sew%20Fleece%20blanket%20instructions.JPG
How much should I charge for a no sew fleece blanket?
I have been making no sew fleece blankets and decided that I want to sell them. I also make fleece scarves and sell them too. I was wondering what an appropriate amount would be to sell them at. They are very nice patterns and local team colors. They are also very big and warm. Any suggestions are appreciated. I'm thinking maybe $20 $25.
Is a no-sew fleece blanket "girly"?
I found a Phillies pattern fleece at my local fabrics store and since my boyfriend is a huge fan I was thinking about making a no sew fleece blanket out of it for him for Christmas.. but I'm wondering if those kind of blankets are considered a girl thing..? He's a great guy so I think he'd use it to make me happy but I'd rather actually get him something he likes instead of getting him something he pretends to like.Honest answers are best.. if you think they're too girly is there anything else you can see me using this fleece for? I feel like it's too perfect to pass up

I would like to make a no-sew fleece blanket...?

Would this no sew fleece blanket idea look stupid?
I wanted to make my boyfriend a no sew fleece blanket for his birthday. I cant find any fleece material with the pattern I want on it so I wanted to do something with iron on transfers. Since you cant use iron on transfers on fleece do you think it would still look ok if I ironed the transfer onto a cotton square and just sewed it onto the fleece. I was going to use a number of the same iron on transfers and have it look like a checkered quilt pattern. So it would look like cotton square with a iron on transfer then fleece square then another cotton square with iron transfer then fleece square etc. Would that look dumb? Can you give me any better ideas?
