Moms with babies.... I make personalized baby blankets and need advice.?
I make beautiful personalized rag quilts for newborns that have the baby's name and birthday in the center square. I've made a couple for friends and people they know keep asking if I sell them. For the material used it costs me about 20 dollars to make one on average. Sometimes 15 sometimes 25. I would be very glad to sell them but I really don't think people would be willing to pay 40 dollars or more for a blanket which is the least I would charge. What do you think? The blankets are gorgeous but I know I couldn't pay that much for a blanket. How about you guys?PS, I'm not trying to sell any blankets, I just want to know about pricing.
